Sunday School for Children and Youth

Children worship in the sanctuary through the Children's Time, then move to an age appropriate Sunday School class.  Children learn about God through stories and creativity, setting a foundation for following Jesus. Each class is led by at least two adults who have been screened by Safe Sanctuareis. Nursery care is provided for children ages 2 and under.

Youth learn together in a class, being present in worship on communion Sundays.

Montgomery Methodist Children's Center

For over 40 years, MMCC has provided excellent Early Childhood Education with a warm and caring Christian learning environment.  The school was founded by the church for children to learn and grow emotionally, intellectually and socially at their own pace.  MMCC offers classes for 2, 3 and PreK 4 year olds.  Visit our website to learn more about the Montgomery Methodist Children's Center.

Saturday Morning Basketball
MUMC hosts a Winter Basketball League for children 4-7 years of age each year from January to March. (Children may not turn 8 prior to the end of the basketball season). There are no practices and games are held each Saturday beginning at 9am. It's a great program that focuses on Christian fellowship, fun, outreach and positivity.

Youth Group
Our youth group is a shared ministry with Damascus UMC. Youth group is an awesome opportunity for middle and high school students to dig deeper in their faith alongside other students their age. It is also a great opportunity to invite friends to have some fun and fellowship. If interested or if you have any follow up questions please contact Tina Kelly, our shared Youth Director.
