  • Rethink Service – Coming October 14th

On Sunday, October 14, Montgomery Church will do just that – with our first-ever Sunday of Service.

We will meet in the parking lot at 8 a.m. for prayer and sending forth.  Then, teams from the church will be going forth to serve in a variety of settings.  It may be serving meals at a shelter; it may be home repairs, landscaping, or visiting with a home-bound member of our congregation.  The possibilities are endless – and the only limit is our imagination.

We foresee families working together, and persons of all ages utilizing their gifts to bless others in our community.

There will be no Sunday morning worship, and no Sunday School on that day. We will, however, come back together on Sunday evening, for a covered dish dinner, and a celebration of our day.

This is a unique opportunity – so set aside that time, and begin to think about what you might be willing to contribute.  More details will be coming as we get closer to the date.  This will be a very exciting time, so make sure that you do not miss it!
