Rethink Service – Coming October 14th

On Sunday, October 14, Montgomery Church will do just that – with our first-ever Sunday of Service. We will meet in the parking lot at 8 a.m. for prayer and sending forth.  Then, teams from the church will be going forth to serve in a variety of settings.  It may be serving meals at a shelter; it may be home repairs, landscaping, or visiting with a home-bound member of our congregation.  The possibilities are endless – and the only limit is our imagination. Mom’s Group Bible Study

Our church treasures our Moms and all Mothers are invited “To Come to the Table” and join one of our two weekly Bible studies designed for our Moms. On Monday morning during the school year you are invited to join the class that coincides with our morning preschool classes at Montgomery Methodist Children’s Center, meeting from 9:30 – 11:30. During this study the church provides free childcare for all your little ones not enrolled  in preschool.  Our other Mom’s Bible Study is held on Wednesday evenings in the church library and meets from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. Holiday Food Baskets

It is Fall! Thanksgiving will be here before we know it. It is so exciting that due to the excellent response from the congregation last year the committee will be able to provide for more families this year. Thank you all. We are already starting to collect non-perishable food and monetary donations for the Thanksgiving Holiday Food Baskets. Food can be placed in the Coat room or Classroom “B”. Monetary donations can be placed in Rosa Mandich’s mailbox in the Coat room, please mark that it is for the baskets. Please see insert for requested items and to sign up to help.
